HIGH MOUNT SLIP-ON

|Fits 2005 - 2006 models. This is a Slip-On system that does not retain the passenger peg assembly. We supply a new aluminum bracket that is black powder coated (prototype shown in picture not powder coated).|
This Slip-On features a large diameter 2.25" 304 series stainless steel S-bend. We remove the complete SET valve/cables, etc. We use our 15" length muffler, with a 2.25" or large 2.50" diameter core for maximum performance. It sounds absolutely awesome. An optional 2.0" core and 2.0" exit tip is available for those who would like a quieter system, as well as an 18" muffler shell to further attenuate the sound levels. The muffler body clamp mount is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel and insulating with an extruded rubber insulator. The muffler is available in lightweight Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, or Titanium shells.

|This Slip-On makes big power, without having to alter the stock fuel curve. It may be possible to gain even more power with the use of a PC3 and a well sorted out map. This particular model had less than 3000 miles on it, but was well broken in. The High Mount Slip-On as tested had the 15" muffler and 2.375" core. The power increase was 7.2 horsepower and 2.68 in torque. There is a huge difference in top-end horsepower after 11500 rpm ( as much as 14 hp!) as the stock muffler really falls off the powerband, but the Area P system holds the power curve much longer all the way to the soft limiter. The stock fuel curve is within specs and no change is required to the mapping.|
