| ||Fits 2009 - 2011 models. Features a large diameter 304 series stainless steel mid-pipe exiting into 12” carbon fiber muffler or stainless steel muffler. Removes both mufflers and “boom box”. Comes standard with large 2.50” core (optional 2.25” or 2.0” core available). Dyno test was conducted with the 2.5” core installed. Huge weight savings and power increase by converting to a single side Slip-On. We install an oxygen sensor bung into the mid-pipe to retain the OEM sensor/closed loop system. The polished muffler body clamp is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel with extruded rubber insulator. Stainless steel T-Bolt clamps utilized on the mid-pipe and muffler inlet. Different length mufflers available on request. |
The power increase when converting back to a single Slip-On is impressive. Over 12 horsepower and 10 foot pounds of torque was gained in the mid-range. Gain at peak is 5.5 hp and 2 tq. The chart shows runs with the 12” muffler and 2.50” core. The stock fuel curve was within specs, but could be further optimized with the addition of a PC3 or PCV and proper map.
