This Slip-On megaphone fits 2006 - 08 models. Simple installation, this system removes the EXUP type valve located within the OEM muffler for better quality sound and performance. This 304 series stainless steel megaphone is run wide open, since the majority of sound is attenuated by the OEM “boom-box”. The sound is awesome. An optional reverse cone perforated core packed with Silent Sport Premium is available to lower the sound level approximately 3 dbA if desired.

This bike had 1064 miles on it. Power comes on at 7000 rpm and continues to carry up to the soft limiter (well below the 16500 redline). The stock fuel curve was well within specs and a PC3 is not required.

Horsepower gains are limited because of the welded on “boom-box” chamber. Gains of 1 - 2 horsepower are all that can be expected. Styling and sound are significantly improved for a very small investment.
