SUZUKI GSXR1000 BOLT-ON

Fits 2001- 2004 models. Also fits GSXR600/750 models from 2001 – 2005. This is a "Bolt-On" muffler. It features a CNC billet aluminum adaptor that installs very easily. This system uses our standard 18” length muffler, with a 2" diameter core and outlet tip. A 15" length muffler with 2.25" or large 2.50" core is also available for those wanting a slightly louder and lighter system. The muffler body clamp mount is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel and insulating with an extruded rubber insulator. The muffler is available in lightweight Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, or Titanium shells.

The model used was a 2001 with almost 40,000 miles on it. Though strong, the numbers are obviously lower than a later year model or engine with fewer miles on it. This bike gained 7.41 horsepower and 3.23 foot pounds of torque. These are unusually high gains for a Bolt-On. Suffice to say, gains of 3 -5 hp and 2 ft lbs torque will be average on most models (this goes for 600/750 models as well). The 2001 stock muffler on this test bike is more restrictive than later year models, henceforth the larger than normal gain. Fuel curve is within specs and no change is required to the mapping.
