SUZUKI GSXR600/750 SLIP-ON

gsxr750_06_2_300

gsxr750_06_300

This Slip-On muffler fits both 600 and 750 models for 2006 - 2007. Features a 304 series stainless steel mid-pipe exiting into a short 9.0” length muffler. Available with either a 2.0”, 2.25" or large 2.5” core. With the muffler length being fairly short, sound levels are elevated, but the tone quality is awesome. The exhaust S.E.T valve in the OEM head pipe is retained, as it is located in the collector. The mounting system features a cnc plasma cut stainless steel plate that bolts onto the frame and does not interfere with the adjustable peg location. The polished muffler body clamp is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel with extruded rubber insulators. The mufflers are available in Carbon Fiber or lightweight 304 series Stainless Steel.

WEIGHT SAVINGS

10 lbs (the OEM muffler assembly is very heavy)

GSXR600 – This bike had 659 miles on the odometer and was still tight. An increase of 3.2 hp and 1.1 tq was gained. The power will continue to improve with more break-in miles. The stock fuel curve was slightly lean in the 4000 – 12000 rpm range, but nearly perfect from 12000 up to the soft limiter (15650 rpm). We recommend a PC3 be installed with proper map for optimum performance.

GSXR750 – This bike had 605 miles on the odometer and was still tight. And increase of 4.4 hp and 1.0 tq was gained. The stock fuel curve was slightly lean through-out the power band up to the soft limiter (14250 rpm). We tested a PC3 on this particular model with a “Fuel Moto USA” map and gained 5 hp in the 4000 – 8000 rpm range. We recommend a PC3 be installed with proper map for optimum performance.
