SUZUKI GSXR600/750 BOLT-ON

Fits 2001-2005 models. Also fits '01 - 04 GSXR1000 models.  This is a "Bolt-On" muffler. It features a CNC billet 6061 aluminum adaptor that installs very easily. This system uses our standard 18" length muffler, with a 2.0", 2.25" or large 2.50" diameter core.  It sounds awesome.   If you prefer something with even more tone, as well as slighter lighter, you can choose the Extreme 15" length muffler. The muffler body clamp mount is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel and insulating with an extruded rubber insulator. The muffler is available in lightweight Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, or Titanium shells.

Just over 3 lbs on the 2004 OEM muffler (which is very light). On previous year models the weight savings will be even greater.

The model used was a 2004. This particular model had 2033 miles on it. The Bolt-On muffler as tested had the 2.50" core and made a very significant gain in horsepower. The power increase on this particular model was 7 horsepower and a slight increase in torque. There is a huge difference in top-end horsepower (over 10) as the stock muffler really falls off the powerband, but the Area P muffler holds the power curve much longer. Fuel curve/map is within specs and no change is required to the mapping.
